Dental Implants

An implant is an artificial root placed in either the upper or lower arch.  It is made of titanium and allows bone to grow into the implant becoming osteointegrated.  This procedure has been performed for many years and is highly successful and predictable.  The many uses include:  simple tooth replacement, multiple fixed tooth replacement, and anchoring a removable bridge.  When making a lower full denture, two implants will secure the denture and greatly add to your quality of life.  Please call for an appointment so that Dr. Wolfert can explain implants in greater detail.
